SAN ANTONIO (Sporting Alert) — The San Antonio Spurs (50-16) are ready to start on the aggressive end in the opening Western Conference first round game against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.

The Texas team, which starts the series as the number 1 seed in the Western Conference again will look for better this post season and shoot around this morning has indicated that they are looking to keep their good form going.

Tony Parker (18.3), Tim Duncan (15.4) and Manu Ginobili (12.9), who is shooting 52.6 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from three point range – will be the main scorers for the Spurs, which are looking to add the their impressive 28-5 home road this season.

Reports are saying that Boris Diaw will start alongside Tim Duncan in today’s game.

The Utah Jazz (36-30) had to work hard to get to this point and one would believe that they will want to keep the fight going.

The 11-22 away record isn’t so much in their favour, but this is playoffs basketball!
