Donbass Arena, Ukraine (Sporting Alert) — Opening game hero Andriy Shevchenko will start again for Ukraine in their Euro 2012 clash with France on Friday night.
The 2012 Euro tournament started on Friday, June 8 – games will be televised live on ESPN and its networks, including live streaming on ESPN3.com, ESPNDeportes and WatchESPN.com.
Shevchenko scored both goals for Ukraine in their come from behind 2-1 victory over Sweden in the first game of group and has been rewarded with another place in the starting XI.
Victory for the co-hosts would set them up well to book a place into the quarter-finals, but it will be a very difficult task against he French.
France, after playing to a 1-1 draw with England, have decided to go on the attack again with Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema and Manchester City attacking midfielder Samir Nasri leading the line.
Manchester United’s left-back Patrice Evra, who started in the first game is on the bench, alongside Chelsea’s Florent Malouda, who was also dropped.
