Sir Alex Ferguson says departing Paul Pogba showed us no respect

MANCHESTER, England (Sporting Alert) — Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that it is disappointing to see youngster Paul Pogba departing the Barclays Premier League side.

French midfielder has been unsettled at United for some time, following the lack of first team football and he had decided to leave for Serie A champions Juventus.

It is believed that Pogba agreed to leave Manchester United to join his new side in Italy a while back, even though Ferguson and several senior players tried to convinced him to stay with the Reds.

Ferguson said he showed lack of respect.

“Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we’re aware,” Sir Alex said on Manchester United official website at www.manutd.com.

“It’s disappointing. I don’t think he showed us any respect at all. To be honest, if they carry on that way, they’re probably better doing it away from us.

Meanwhile, the manager is also waiting on Zeki Fryers, who is yet to decide on his future with the club.

Fergie said: “We haven’t heard anything from Zeki Fryers. I don’t know what’s happening there but he’s not been in touch with the club.

“His agent hasn’t been in touch with the club and I can only assume he’ll be back for training today.”
