No Sneijder, Walcott, Lewandowski move to Manchester United – Fergie

Arsenal contract rebel Walcott has also been tipped to join his former Gunner teammate Robin van Persie at the league leaders, as does Lewandowski to link back up with Shinji Kagawa.

However, Ferguson dismissed those transfer rumors and claimed that his team doesn’t need anyone else.

“I will not be bringing anybody in, in January, definitely not,” Ferguson told the Mail on Sunday.

The boss also dashed remarks that his midfield is very weak and needs strengthening.

“We have a lot of options in midfield with Anderson, who is injured at the moment, Darren Fletcher, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs,” Ferguson said on Manchester United FC official website at www.manutd.com.

“People says we’re weak in midfield but these are very good players.

“Sometimes it gives me a problem with selecting the correct two but today (Saturday) was very simple though because Carrick and Cleverley deserved to play after last week.”

A move for Walcott, despite the manager’s comments could well be on the cards, as Portugal winger Nani is all set to leave the club following a fall out with the boss.

However, it’s unlikely that Manchester United will move for Lewandowski as the club already have four solid strikers in van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez.

Ferguson did say though that he’s looking to loan out some of his younger players, including Italian striker Federico Macheda to get valuable first team playing times this season.
