TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The South Carolina State men’s basketball team goes in search of a first win this season when it travels to play Florida A&M on Sunday.
The Bulldogs (0-12, 0-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) are yet to win a game this season from their 12 starts and would certain want to break this unwanted skid.
Florida A&M (1-6 0-0) will be opening MEAC play in this encounter. The Rattlers have lost two straight coming into this game.
Game time for this encounter at the Al Lawson Center is slated for 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, while both teams will meet again at the same venue on Monday, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m.
South Carolina State was initially scheduled to play North Carolina Central on Jan. 15 and 16, but these fixtures were postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Eagles’ program.
Last season, South Carolina State and Florida A&M split their season series.
The Bulldogs won the first encounter 81-65 in Orangeburg, and the Rattlers secured a 62-56 victory in Tallahassee in the return matchup.
Overall, South Carolina State has lost 18 straight games, dating back to last season.
