LIVERPOOL (Sporting Alert) — A red hot Luis Suarez is ready to duplicate his last goalscoring performance for Liverpool FC when the Reds take on West Ham United at Anfield Saturday.
Suarez, netted four times in the 5-1 victory over Norwich City in midweek to take his tally to 13 goals and ahed of the EPL lead scorers this season.
The Uruguay forward has been sizzling thus far this season and he is clear favourite, according to SkyBet to break the deadlock on Saturday, odds-on to find the back of the net at anytime, and 8/1 to fire home another hat-trick.
He has been hailed by many pundits and his manager Brendan Rodgers even believes, on current form, he is in the same class as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Saturday Liverpool FC will be hoping their star man will deliver another performance like his last as Rodgers’ side look to keep the pressure on Arsenal and Chelsea.
Liverpool FC starts as the 2/7 favourites to win the game, as well as 15/2 to score five or more for the sixth time in the Premier League under Rodgers.
But the Reds will continue to be without striker Daniel Sturridge, who is out with an ankle sprain, while full-back Jose Enrique (knee) also remains on the sidelines.
West Ham forward Andy Carroll returns to training, after a foot injury, but the England international will not be available to face his former club.
In other West Ham team news, talented midfielder Ravel Morrison is out because of suspension, while forward Mladen Petric (calf) and defender Winston Reid (ankle) remains doubtful.
