The Windies travels with a very strong team that includes the hard hitting Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Darren Sammy, as well as Kemar Roach and Sunil Narine.

And with a number of those players featuring in this summer’s Twenty20 Big Bash League in Australia, the squad is already feeling at home down under.

“It will be a massive help for us,” West Indies captain Sammy said.

“The experience they’ve got of playing here over the years will be passed on to the youngsters like [Kieran] Powell, Andre Russell, Johnson Charles and our young keeper Devon Thomas.

“Information is never too much coming from the guys who have that experience.”
