Team Starting XI: Arsenal vs Manchester City

By:JEFF-BRODRICKS Published on: April 8, 2012 9:24 am Leave a Comment

LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Sergio Aguero returns to the Manchester City starting XI for the Barclays Premier League visit to Arsenal.

Aguero missed the last out against Sunderland with a foot problem, but has been recalled to partner Mario Balotelli in the attack as Manchester City look to keep tabs on leaders Manchester United, who beat QPR 2-0 in the early kick-off to go eight points clear at the top.

Starting also are Samir Nasri, Joleon Lescott and James Milner, but the injured David Silva is out of the contest and will be missed for sure.

Controversial striker Carlos Tevez is on the bench alongside Edin Dzeko.

Arsenal, meanwhile starts with Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott and Yossi Benayoun in front looking for the goals, while the likes of Tomas Rosicky and Alexandre Song will provide the support at both ends of the pitch.
