LONDON (Sporitng Alert) — Fernando Torres is back on the bench again for Chelsea for tonight’s Barclays Premier League clash with West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

Torres will be on the bench, as Demba Ba leads the attack in a strong Chelsea side named by manager Rafa Benitez.

Victor Moses also comes into the starting team, along with Frank Lampard, Ramires, Juan Mata and Eden Hazard, while  Oscar has been named as a substitute.

Captain John Terry is only on the bench, as Gary Cahill and David Luiz start at central defence.

“It’ll be a tough game,” Chelsea boss Benitez said ahead of kick-off. “West Ham are quite intensive, physically.

“If we have possession and move the ball well their long-ball play will be less of a threat.

“Torres took a knock so this is a normal situation to manage two strikers.”

West Ham, in the meantime, make two changes to the side that featured at Stoke with Ricardo Vaz Te and Jack Collison coming into the side to replace Joe Cole, who is out injured and Matt Taylor, who is on the bench.

Andy Carroll also starts, while Carlton Cole and James Tomkins are amongst the subs.
