(Sporting Alert) — Chelsea skipper and center-back John Terry is only on the bench tonight as the champions take on Nordsjaelland in the Group E Champions League match at Farum Park.

The former England captain makes his return from his two-game European ban, but the manager has decided to start with Gary Cahill and David Luiz in the heart of the defence tonight.

Ashley Cole and Branislav Ivanovic complete the backline.

Meanwhile, Victor Moses has been handed a dream starting place for the Blues, with Eden Hazard starting the opening 45-minutes on the bench.

Frank Lampard, Oscar and Juan Mata are all starters as well, with Spanish international Fernando Torres starting at the center forward position.

For Nordsjaelland, Andreas Laudrup, the son of Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup is on the bench.

Chelsea: Cech, Cole, Luiz, Cahill, Ivanovic, Ramires, Lampard, Oscar, Torres, Mata, Moses. Subs: Turnbull, Terry, Azpilicueta, Bertrand, Romeu, Mikel, Hazard.

Nordsjaelland: Hansen, Okore, Mtiliga, Parkhurst, Runje, Adu, Stokholm, Lorentzen, Beckmann, Nordstrand, John. Subs: Villadsen, Gundelach, Christensen, Ticinovic, Petry, Christiansen, Laudrup.
