LONDON (Sporting Alert) – John Terry has been named in the starting XI for Chelsea for today’s Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
Terry takes the place of Gary Cahill in a Chelsea side which only made change to team that played Stoke City a week ago.
David Luiz will partner him in the back line.
Meanwhile, midfielder Frank Lampard is on the bench for today’s game, as Mikel John Obi, Ramires, Oscar, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata all start.
Victor Moses, who scored in the Capital One Cup, Cesar Azpilicueta and Oriol Romeu are on the bench.
Arsenal welcome back captain Thomas Vermaelen to the side and he will partner Laurent Koscielny in the one change to Arsene Wenger’s team that drew 1-1 with Manchester City.
Theo Walcott is back on the bench, as Lukas Podolski and Gervinho both returns after sitting the Capital One game.
Per Mertesacker, Andre Santos, Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all on the bench.
Vito Mannone continues to be in the goal.
