(Sporting Alert) — John Terry returns to the starting lineup for Chelsea, while Fernando Torres also starts for Chelsea in tonight’s FA Cup 5th Round clash with Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium.

Terry, who was an unused substitute in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League on Sunday, is back and will captain the side, as he plays alongside Branislav Ivanovic at center back.

Paulo Ferreira and Ryan Bertrand complete the backline.

Also starting tonight for the Blues are Torres, who replaces Demba Ba in the attack, 18-year-old Nathan Ake also starts, as well as Victor Moses, Oscar and Yossi Benayoun.

Eden Hazard and Lampard are on the bench, as are Ashley Cole and David Luiz, but Juan Mata has been left out completely.

For Middlesbrough, manager Tony Mowbray was forced to make changes as Josh McEachran and Kieron Dyer are both ineligible.

However, Faris Haroun, Muzzy Carayol and Scott McDonald all start tonight.

Middlesbrough: Steele, Bailey, Friend, McManus, Bikey, Williams, Haroun, Leadbitter, McDonald, Main, Carayol.
Subs: Leutwiler, Zemmama, Emnes, Ledesma, Hines, Miller, Smallwood.

Chelsea: Cech, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Bertrand, Ramires, Ake, Moses, Oscar, Benayoun, Torres.
Subs: Turnbull, Cole, Luiz, Lampard, Hazard, Marin, Ba.
