CHICAGO, Sporting Alert – Dwayne Wade will make his NBA regular-season debut for the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, while the San Antonio Spurs seek another win in the latest fixtures.

Wade, who left the Miami Heat in the offseason to return home to the windy city, will team up with his new pals when the Bulls entertain the Boston Celtics at the United Center.
After spending 13 seasons in Miami and winning three NBA titles, the 34-year-old is now looking forward to starting a new chapter in his NBA career with his hometown Bulls.
Wade, who averaged 23.7 points, 5.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds in his career in Miami, will team up with the likes of Taj Gibson, Rajon Rondo, Nikola Mirotic, Robin Lopez and Jimmy Butler, along with Doug McDermott, Michael Carter-Williams and Denzel Valentine in a push to secure a playoffs spot from the Eastern Conference this season.
Meanwhile, Boston (1-0) comes into this game on the back of a 122-117 victory over the Brooklyn Nets with Isaiah Thomas leading the way with 25 points, nine assists and six rebounds for the Celtics.
Speaking ahead of Thursday night’s clash Chicago Bulls, Rando had nothing but high praise for Brad Stevens, his former coach during his time in Boston.
“He’s probably the most positive coach I’ve ever played for,” Rondo said after Wednesday’s practice.
“Always onto the next play, very inspiring, very encouraging. As a player, you want to play for a guy like a Brad Stevens. He’s just real positive.”
Wade is expected to play around 30-32 minutes in the opening games of the season.
Las Vegas Odds have the Bulls as 1-point favourites against the Celtics on Thursday night.
San Antonio Buzzing To Get Going Again
After knocking off fellow Western Conference giants and equal championship threat Golden State Warriors in the season opener on Tuesday night, the San Antonio Spurs (1-0) will take on the Sacramento Kings (1-0).
The game will be a back-to-back fixture for the Kings after DeMarcus Cousins scored 24 points and Rudy Gay added 22 in a 113-94 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night in their regular-season opener.
San Antonio, behind Kawhi Leonard career-high 35 points, topped the Warriors 129-100 in the opening game of the season on Tuesday night and Vegas has them as 9-point favourites to beat Sacramento.
Clippers At Trail Blazers: Paul v Lillard
Also on the night, the Portland Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard will entertain Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers at the Moda Center.
While the game will be a season opener for the LA Clippers, the Trail Blazers (1-0) are hunting their second in the early campaign.
Lillard paced Portland with 39 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in 35 minutes in Tuesday’s 113-104 win over the Utah Jazz and the point guard is excited about facing the Clippers.
The matchup will be a rematch of last year’s Western Conference quarter-finals when the Trail Blazers came back from being down 2-0 in the series to beat an injured hit Los Angeles Clippers 4-2.
TNT, the Watch TNT app and TNT Overtime will provide live TV and internet streaming broadcast of this game, with tip-off being at 10:30pm ET.
The Washington Wizards are at the Atlanta Hawks in the fourth game on the schedule for Thursday.
