Toronto, Ontario (Sporting Alert) — Pau Gasol has returned to starting line-up for the Los Angeles Lakers in today’s NBA clash with the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
Gasol returned from a concussion in midweek, but only started on the bench.
And after complaining that he wasn’t happy with being a reserve, the star power has been handed the start over Earl Clark to show that he deserves the place.
Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant will start as the guards, while Metta World Peace joins Gasol as the other forward and Dwight Howard starting at center.
The starters for the Raptors are Jose Calderon and DeMar DeRozan at guard, while Landry Fields, Ed Davis and Aaron Gray complete the rest of the team.
