LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Tottenham will seek to join Arsenal on 58 points with a victory over Swansea City in Barclays Premier League at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Arsenal were beaten 2-1 by QPR on Saturday and Tottenham can join them on points with a win.
Manager Harry Redknapp has named a strong Spurs side for the clash – with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, William Gallas and Scott Parker are included in the starting XI.
Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe are amongst the substitutes for tonight’s game.
Meanwhile, Swansea are just outside the top ten and virtually safe from the drop zone, but manager Brendan Rodgers wants his team to continue playing tough football.
The promoted side has knocked off several big guns in past fixtures and will be confident of taking down this Tottenham side as well.
