(Sporting Alert) — Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has made four changes from the side that played in the first leg for tonight UEFA Europa League clash with Basel.
The Barclays Premier League side is without the injured Gareth Bale (ankle), Aaron Lennon (knee), and William Gallas (calf), while defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto is only on the substitutes bench tonight.
Coming into the team are Clint Dempsey, Michael Dawson, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Kyle Walker.
Brad Friedel starts in goal with Hugo Lloris, while Emmanuel Adebayor, Lewis Holtby, Jan Vertonghen, Moussa Dembele and Scott Parker all start.
There is no Jermain Defoe in the side for Tottenham, who need a win or a tie of at least three goals in order to guarantee progression.
