The Dutch striker was doubtful for the contest after he picked up an injury to his hip during United’s 2-0 win over QPR in the last outing, but he’s passed fit to start.
However, Ryan Giggs is not included at all today and will have to wait for his 1,000th appearance against Real Madrid.
Wayne Rooney, will partner van Persie in the attack, with Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck both on the bench.
As expected, there was no Phil Jones, who is still out injured, while Rio Ferdinand is being rested as well.
Michael Carrick, Anderson start in midfield behind Shinji Kagawa, while Nani and Ashley Young are both on the bench.
Norwich City, in the meantime, will be looking to complete the league double over United after beating the leaders when they met in the first meeting.
