BARCELONA (Sporting Alert) — Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice and Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-1 in the second leg of their Copa Del Rey semi-final second leg at Camp Nou on Tuesday.

Jordi Alba netted the lone goal for Barcelona, who were beaten 4-2 on aggregate after the two sides played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Madrid.

Ronaldo gave Real Madrid the lead when he fired home from the penalty spot in the 13th minute to give the visitors a 1-0 score and a 2-1 advantage on aggregate before half-time.

The Former Manchester United forward then gave Real Madrid an even bigger advantage 12-minutes into the second half when he fired home into an empty net after Jose Pinto was pulled out of position by a brilliant run by Angel Di Maria.

Defender Raphael Varane rose high to score his second of the tie after scoring in the first leg. The score then was 3-0 before Alba scored a consolation goal for Barcelona, who were left frustrated in the defeat.
