Vidic not with Manchester United touring team, but Wayne Rooney goes

MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) -- Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has not travelled with Premier League club's pre-season touring squad, while goalkeeper David De Gea and striker Robin van Persie have been given more rest time.
