MADRID (SportingAlert.com) — Coach Vincente del Bosque has decided to delay naming his 23-man Fifa World Cup squad for Brazil 2014 and has selected a squad to face Bolivia in a friendly international this week instead.
Del Bosque was expected to name his final squad for the World Cup finals on Sunday, but wanted to take another look at a few players before making his final decision.
The Spain boss selected a group of 19 players to face Bolivia on Friday with the likes of David Villa, Jesus Navas, Alvaro Negredo and Fernando Llorente all left out of the squad.
However, Fernando Torres, Cesc Fabregas, Juan Mata and Gerard Deulofeu have all been included in the team for the international friendly.

Goalkeepers: Pepe Reina, David De Gea
Defenders: Gerard Pique, Raul Albiol, Jordi Alba, Cesar Azpilicueta, Alberto Moreno
Midfielders: Xavi Hernandez, Javi Martinez, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Santi Cazorla, Ander Iturraspe, Cesc Fabregas, Juan Mata, David Silva
Forwards: Pedro, Fernando Torres, Gerard Deulofeu
