LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Theo Walcott has been named to the Arsenal bench for their EPL game against Southampton at Emirates Stadium, as the leaders look to take advantage of playing at home.

Walcott is back in the team after being out with an injury and he joins Tomas Rosicky and Nicklas Bendtner on the bench.
Starting tonight are Per Mertesacker, who returns at center-back in place of Thomas Vermaelen, who returns to the bench, with Jack Wilshere coming in for the injured Mathieu Flamini.
Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, who sat-out Germany’s win over England in midweek, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud all start as well.
For Southampton, who sits third in the EPL standings, England internationals Jay Rodriguez, Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert all start tonight.
