HOUSTON — Point guard John Wall scored 26 points and the Houston Rockets secured a 102-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings, while an injured James Harden sat out the game.
Wall tallied his points from 11 of 21 shooting from the field and added six assists, four rebounds, and three steals.

Houston was without guard Harden, who was held out of the action because of a sprained right ankle, although he was not listed among the players on the injury report.
Harden was ruled out about 40 minutes before tip-off on Saturday. He started three games this season and is averaging a league-leading 37 points with 11 assists.
Eric Gordon supported Wall with 21 points and four assists, while Christian Wood was also efficient with 20 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocks for the Rockets (2-2), who were beating Sacramento for the second successive time, following the 122-119 victory on Dec. 31.
Sterling Brown ended with 11 points on 4 of 6 shooting with three 3-pointers to go with six rebounds for Houston, which outscored the Kings in the second half after both teams went into the halftime break locked at 64-all.
The Rockets made 13 3-pointers in the win and shot 45% from the field overall.
De’Aaron Fox led Sacramento (3-3) with 23 points on 8 of 19 shooting with four assists, while Harrison Barnes added 19 points and seven rebounds. He shot 7 of 13 from the floor.
Buddy Hield made five 3-pointers and scored 17 points.
Marvin Bagley III finished with 12 points and nine rebounds and Richaun Holmes finished with 11 points and nine boards for the Kings, who were losing for the third time in four games.
