Media partner of the ABN-AMRO Rotterdam Marathon will be streaming the race live on Sunday 15th of April. Viewers can watch the race of the top athletes on Universal Sports.
The Rotterdam Marathon is part of the IAAF Silver Label Road Race series and will featre several star athletes, including Moses Mosop of Kenya, who owns a personal best of 2.03.06.
Also entered on the men’s side are Mosop’s fellow countrymen Sammy Kitwara and Peter Kirui, who could make the race very interesting for him, as well as Getu Feleke of Ethiopia, who owns a personal best of 2.05.16.
On the women’s side, Ethiopia Tiki Gelana, who has a personal best of 2:22:08 the fastest in the field and she, along with her countrywomen with be the ones to beat. Nineteen-year-old Merima Hasen, whose personal record is 2.23.06, is expected to be a strong challenger for Gelana.
Italian Valeria Straneo, 36, will be the toughest challenger for Gelana outside of her Ethiopian compatriots.
The Rotterdam Marathon will start at 10.30.
