MIAMI — The Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard and Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tyler Boyd have both been ejected for trading punches during the NFL game on Sunday.
The punching incident happened on the sideline after a third-down incompletion.

Adding to that, Cincinnati was also penalized 15 yards for an unnecessary roughness penalty on Boyd, which cost them potential points after the punish knocked the team out of a shorter field goal placement.
The penalty left the Bengals with a 53-yard field-goal attempt, which was missed by Randy Bullock.
The Miami Dolphins then moved 27 yards in the final minute of the first half and kicked a field goal to cut the deficit to 7-6 at halftime before taking a lead early in the second half.
Earlier in the game, Boyd turned a short pass into a 72-yard touchdown, and Howard made his NFL-leading eighth interception.
The Dolphins started the game with rookie Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback after he missed last week’s win at the New York Jets with a thumb injury.
