ATLANTA, GA. (December 3) —— No. 1 Georgia takes on No. 11 LSU in today’s 2022 SEC Championship game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium here in Atlanta, and you can watch live streaming coverage and the television broadcast on CBS, starting at 4:00 pm ET. Georgia (12-0, 8-0 SEC) enters this game as a 17.5 point favorite, according the college football odds by Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over/Under for total points in this game is 52. Although the Bulldogs are the favorites to win today, LSU has been a decent enough side in latter parts of the season and it is not impossible for the Tigers to cause an upset today.

LSU, unstandably is not the frontrunner to win the 2022 SEC Championship game, but nothing would please coach Brian Kelly more than to hand the reigning College Football Playoff champion its first defeat of the season, although we all know that this wouldn’t totally knock the Bulldogs out of the CFP playoffs top four. Would an impressive, big win hand another lifeline to LSU? No way. I can’t see that happening.

Meanwhile, on Saturday the Tigers (9-3, 6-2 SEC) are aiming to bounce back from last week’s 38-23 defeat to Texas A&M in the regular season finale.

“It was definitely upsetting (to lose to A&M),” said sophomore defensive end Mekhi Wingo said. “But we’ve given ourselves a chance to play another game with how we’ve played all season. We’re happy that wasn’t our last game. We get another chance to correct those things and put a good product on film.“
