The Crimson Tide (11-0) come into this game as a 19.5-point favorite and given the form they’ve been in all season, it is difficult to look beyond them winning this game. This is the first of two College Football Playoff Semifinals.

Alabama used a powerhouse offense to outscore Florida 52-46 in what turned out to be an exciting shootout for the Southeastern Conference championship last month.
In that game, Najee Harris tallied five touchdowns, including three in the air, while Mac Jones passed for 418 yards and five touchdowns and DeVonta Smith caught two scoring passes for 184 yards.
No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Ohio State Preview, Predictions & How To Watch: Jan 1
Harris ended the SEC title game with 245 total yards.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame (10-1) had its perfect season run snapped on Dec. 19 in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game after falling 34-10 in a disastrous display against then-No. 4 Clemson.
The Fighting Irish have been consistent over the past four years so we are expecting them to come back strong after the disappointments against the Tigers.
However, will their best efforts be enough to match that of Alabama’s, given that the Crimson Tide have always been able to find another gear they are when tested?
One thing for sure, Notre Dame must find ways to score touchdowns in this contest or they will not win the game.
