(Sporting Alert) — Phil Jones starts in midfield for Manchester United in tonight’s Barclays Premier League clash with West Ham at Boleyn Ground.
Jones, who started a right-back in the 2-0 win over Stoke City over the weekend, plays alongside Michael Carrick, Antonio Valencia and Shinji Kagawa in the midfield, with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie leading the attack.
It is believed that Rooney could move to left flank with Kagawa playing behind Van Persie.
Rafael da Silva returns to right-back, while Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic start at center back again.
Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck< Ryan Giggs and Nani are on the bench for Manchester United.
Andy Carroll leads the attack for West Ham United with Kevin Nolan, Gary O’Neil and Matthew Jarvis also starting as well.
