The Elephants are on top of the group standing with six points, three more than the two teams closest to them and head coach Sabri Lamouchi plans to rotate his squad once again.

Star striker and captain Didier Drogba, who looked out of sort in the tournament opener with Togo, is expected to return to the starting lineup after he was dropped to the bench in the 3-0 win over Tunisia five days ago.

Lamouchi will be looking for at least a point to make sure top spot in Group D is secure, but he also admits that will give some of his younger players some minutes.

“I still haven’t decided who will play, but definitely we will see new faces in the line-up against Algeria,” the coach said.

“Because of the situation we are in, I’ll be able to use some of our youngsters.”

Algeria, in the meantime, have only one point from their two games played and are already eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Changes could be made by head coach Vahid Halilhodzic, who has been criticised for rushing to pick too many youngsters at the same time for the tournament.

Make sure to watch the last set of group games live on ESPN3 and see who will join the Ivory Coast in the last eight from this zone.
