BUDAPEST, Hungary – The 2023 World Athletics Championships continues on Tuesday, August 22, with Day Four events set to be broadcast live in the U.S. on Peacock TV and USA Network.
Day 4 2023 World Athletics Championships Schedule
The day’s competition will exclusively feature an evening session at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest. Four finals are slated for the day.

Coverage for U.S. viewers on the USA Network kicks off at 12:40 p.m. ET, spotlighting the heats of the women’s 100m hurdles. Notable participants include world record holder and defending champion Tobi Amusan, Olympic gold medalist Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, and U.S. champion Nia Ali.
The men’s high jump final, the first medal event of the day, is scheduled for 1:58 p.m. ET. This will be followed by the women’s discus throw final at 2:20 p.m. ET. In middle-distance action, Faith Kipyegon will challenge Sifan Hassan for the top spot in the 1500m.
The day concludes with the men’s 3000m steeplechase final at 3:42 p.m. ET. Reigning world and Olympic champion Soufiane El Bakkali of Morocco will compete alongside U.S. contender Kenneth Rooks.
Additionally, both the men’s 400m and the women’s 400m hurdles semifinals are on the Day Four roster of the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
