World Cup Qualifiers: USA v Antiqua and Barbuda

TAMPA, FL (Sporting Alert) — The United States will get its CONCACAF World Cup campaign on the road with a home clash against Antiqua and Barbuda on Friday night.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN3.com and Galavision

Jamaica will host Guatemala in the night’s other match in the group.

The Americans enter the contest against the Antiquans with a dominating win over Scotland, a heavy defeat to Brazil and a 0-0 draw against Canada, and will start favourites to take all three points tonight at the Raymond James Stadium here in Tampa, FL.

With the likes of Clint Dempsey, who is coming off a brilliant season with Fulham, Landon Donovan, Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard and Herculez Gomez all coming into the clash on good form, Jurgen Klinsmann’s side will be confident of giving their supporters something to cheer about.
