New York Knicks lead Miami Heat, 40-36: Half-time

NEW YORK, NY (Sporting Alert) — The New York Knicks held the Miami Heat to 36 percent shooting from the field to lead 40-36 at half-time in their NBA playoffs clash at the Madison Square Garden.

Landry Fields has so far scored nine points, three rebounds and two assists and J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony both have eight points for the Knicks, which trail the Heat 2-0 in the series.

Baron Davis and Tyson Chandler each scored five points, with the latter also pulling down five rebounds.

LeBron James currently leads the Miami Heat with 12 points, three rebounds and three assists, but he has also accounted for four of the team’s nine turnovers in the first half.

Chris Bosh has so far scored eight points and five boards, while Mario Chalmers has seven and Dwyane Wade has six points and three steals.
