ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — Two more games are on the schedule on Day 2 in the 2017 Nagico Super50 on Wednesday and you can follow the developments live online.
After two thrilling opening games in Group B from Barbados on Tuesday, today’s coverage shifts to Antigua from Group A. The organizers have provided this live link to stream the game online.
At the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in North Sound, Antigua, Windward Islands Volcanoes will take on the West Indies Under-19s, starting at 9:00 a.m. local time (8:00 a.m. ET).
The second game from the 2017 Nagico Super50 on Day 2 will see Leeward Islands Hurricanes battling with Kent Spitfire, with the first ball bowling at 1:30 p.m. local time (12:30 p.m. EST).
Leeward Islands Hurricanes will be led by West Indies opening batsman Kieran Powell and the team also includes West Indies and Jamaica all-rounder Marlon Samuels, as well as medium pacer Orlando Peters and fast bowler Gavin Tonge.
Kent Spitfire are captained by Sam Northeast and the team also includes experienced spinner James Tredwell.
Meanwhile, Volcanoes will be led by 32-year-old spinner Liam Sebastien and he will have lots of support with both the bat and the ball, with the likes of Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher expected to provide the bulk of the entertainment with the bat.
The squad also includes former West Indies captain Darren Sammy, in addition to Shane Shillingford and veteran batsman Devon Smith.
Elsewhere, Emmanuel Stewart leads West Indies Under-19s, with the likes of Shamar Springer and Keemo Paul among the other players included.
