The undefeated Seminoles welcome the return of star quarterback Jameis Winston, who is back in the starting lineup this weekend missed last Saturday’s 23-17 overtime victory over Clemson

However, a tough game awaits the visiting the FSU team, which has lost five of the last eight games at North Carolina State. The defending champions, with only three wins at this venue, will be hoping to start turning things around in this series, starting with a win on Saturday.

Reflecting on the preparations for this game, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher said: “I was extremely pleased with the focus, the execution, offense, defense and special teams.

“I really was. I am very happy where we are at mentally right now.”

Fisher’s team face a Wolfpack program, which has won all four games this season and he is itching to see how his players will handle the matchup.

“I am anxious to see us take it to the field. We need to because it is going to be a very tough opponent,” he said.

“On the road, that is always a very tough place to play. They are 4-0 and playing well. I am anxious to see how we do this. I really am and I am very, very pleased with how this week ended up.”
