Lacazette, who joined the Gunners on a club record £52.7m from Lyon this summer, will lead the attack for his team in a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Supporting the Frenchman in the attack will be Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil.

Meanwhile, Kolasinac, who joined Arsenal from Schalke and netted the equaliser against Chelsea in the Community Shield over the weekend, starts in a back-three that also includes Rob Holding and Nacho Monreal.

Kolasinac replaces Per Mertersacker, who suffered a facial injury in the first half at Wembley.

Completing the starting lineup for Arsene Wenger’s men are Hector Bellerin and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the wing-back positions, as well as Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka in the central midfield.

Riyad Mahrez, in the meantime, starts for Leicester City despite being linked with a move away from the club this summer.

It is understood that AS Roma are very interested in signing Mahrez, who had submitted a transfer request earlier this summer.

Matty James has been handed a rare start in midfield as fellow midfielders Danny Drinkwater and Vicente Iborra are unavailable because of muscle problems.

Summer signing Harry Maguire makes his English Premier League debut in defence and he comes in for Robert Huth, who is recovering from ankle surgery.

Kelechi Iheanacho, the £25m summer signing from Manchester City, is only fit enough to start on the bench, as Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki lead the attacking line.

Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi and Marc Albrighton are in midfield, while Danny Simpson, captain Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs complete the back four.

Eldin Jakupovic, who signed for the Foxes from relegated Hull City and Vincente Iborra, who joined from Sevilla are not involved.

Arsenal XI: Cech, Holding, Monreal, Elneny, Bellerin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Ozil, Lacazette, Welbeck

Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan (c), Maguire, Fuchs, Mahrez, Ndidi, James, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.
