(Sporting Alert) — Julio César starts in goal for Brazil in tonight’s international exhibition game against Chile.
The veteran goalkeeper started on the bench in the 5-0 win over Honduras at the weekend, but as expected, gets the nod in this game.
Also starting tonight are defender Thiago Silva and Hulk, as does Barcelona forward Neymar, who was in terrific form against Honduras in Miami on Saturday.
Bernard, who scored the opener in the last outing, Robinho, Ramires, Hernanes and Dani Alves are all on the bench, as head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari continues to take a look at other players during these friendlies.
Meanwhile, Chile, who beat England 2-0 on a pair of goals from Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez, will be gunning to cause another shocker against the Fifa World Cup hosts.
Sanchez, who will come against fellow Barca teammate Neymar revealed: “We have a bet. There is a dinner on the way and we’ll see who has to pay for it.”
Sánchez, Eduardo Vargas, Felipe Gutierrez and Carlos Carmona are all starters for Chile in Canada.
