What Are The College Football Games On TV Today, Sept. 1?

MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert — What are the college football games on TV today, September 1, and how to watch and stream them all live?

The full Week 1 schedule continues with eight games on Friday, including two battles involving current AP Top 25 teams.

No. 8 Washington opens its season on the road at High Point Solutions Stadium in New Jersey against Rutgers, while the ninth ranked Wisconsin entertains Utah State at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.

The game between the Huskies and Scarlet Knights kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET and will broadcast live on FOX Sports 1 television, with live streaming also available on Fox Sports GO.

Washington, which finished with a 12-2 record, captured the Pac-12 Conference championship and landed a College Football Playoff place last term, looks prime to take another trip to the CFP this season and the experts are backing the Huskies to make a return.

In the season opener last term, Jake Browning threw three touchdown passes to help Washington beat Rutgers 48-13 and it enters this game as the overwhelming favorite again.

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, the traveling side has a 93.8 percent chance to beat the Scarlet Knights.

Rutgers won two of its opening three games in the last campaign but dropped nine straight to close the season and ended the term with a disappointing 2-10 record.

They will be seeking their first winning season since 2014.

In the second game involving an AP Top 25 side on Friday night, No. 9 Wisconsin will play host to Utah State at Camp Randall Stadium.

This game will be live on ESPN, starting at 9:00 p.m. ET, while WatchESPN will provide the live stream.

ESPN’s Football Power Index, to the surprise of no one, has the Badgers as the heavy favorites — giving the home side a 97.5 percent chance to start the season with a win.
