Friday’s semi-final will see Nadal and Novak Djokovic clashing for the 52nd time head-to-head.

Djokovic secured his place in a semi-final of a Grand Slam for the first time in almost two years with a spirited 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Kei Nishikori in the quarter-finals and Serbian admits that he’s starting to feel like himself again.

“I’m enjoying my Wimbledon journey,” he said after the quarter-final win over Nishikori.

Nadal, who is pursuing an 18th Grand Slam title, earned his place in the semi-finals with a battling victory over Juan Martin del Potro.

The Spaniard reached the semifinals with a classic 7-5, 6-7(7), 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Argentinian No. 5 Del Potro.
