Tuesday’s victory saw Gardner-Webb leveled the season series against Campbell after the Fighting Camels handed the Runnin’ Bulldogs a 70-61 defeat on Monday.
Falko shot 6 of 10 from the field to go with four rebounds and three assists.
Jamaine Mann had 14 points on 5 of 9 shooting to go with his eight rebounds and three boards, while D’Maurian Williams also had 14 points and six rebounds for Gardner-Webb (3-6, 2-2 Big South), which won two of the last three games.
Senior guard Jaheam Cornwall finished with 13 points and Kareem Reid contributed 11 points and six rebounds off the bench for the Runnin’ Bulldogs, who shot 52% from the field on 30 of 57 shooting.
Messiah Thompson had 18 points on 7 of 12 shooting with four 3-pointers for Campbell, who dropped six of the last seven games. Jesus Carralero added 13 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists and Jordan Whitfield scored 11 points with five assists for the Fighting Camels (5-6, 1-3) who went 23 of 50 shooting from the field for 46.0%.
Campbell stays on the road for a pair of Big South Conference games against Longwood on Saturday, Jan. 9 and Sunday, Jan. 10.
The Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs are on the road for two conference games against Radford on Thursday, Jan. 14 and Friday, Jan. 15.
