Timme Leads Way For Gonzaga

Drew Timme scored 22 points, and made 8 of 11 shots with seven rebounds, while Corey Kispert added 16 points and seven boards for Gonzaga (15-0, 6-0 WCC), which was winning at home for the 47th consecutive time.

Bulldogs More Focus This Time

After a relatively close win against Pepperdine and Saint Mary's last week, the Zags responded in the right way.

"We came in more focused,” said Timme. "We did a great job responding.”

"We challenged them a little bit," Gonzaga coach Mark Few said. "We let our guard down in both games last week."

Daniss Jenkins paced Pacific with 17 points and made 7 of 15 shots, while Pierre Crockrell II scored 11 points.

Jordan Bell and Jonathan Salazar each had six points and seven rebounds and Broc Finstuen grabbed six boards for the Tigers (5-3, 2-2), who lost two in a row.

Gonzaga got off to a strong start to lead 52-21 at halftime. The Bulldogs controlled the game for the entire night and held Pacific to just 27.9% shooting.

"I thought we really challenged every shot tonight,” Few said. "The way we beat them on the glass (50-37) was a good sign also.”
