How To Watch College Football Week 8 Games: Oct. 22

TUSCALOOSA, AL, Sporting Alert – College football Week 8 schedule, live TV channel listings and game times for all the fixtures on Saturday, Oct. 22.

No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Michigan and No. 4 Clemson, No. 5 Washington and No. 6 Texas A&M who are all undefeated at the moment, will be in action on another packed weekend of college football.

There are three AP Top 25 ranked v ranked clashes on the calendar for Saturday, with the standout fixture expected to come from Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, where the top-ranked Crimson Tide (7-0) and the Aggies (6-0) battle in a SEC showdown.

Alabama has been the most standout college football team this term and the bookies see them as a 19-point favourite against a Texas A&M side that has knocked off three AP Top 25 ranked teams already this season.

These two sides are the only remaining undefeated clubs left in the SEC.

The matchup will also see former Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight facing Alabama and he is hoping to knock off the Crimson Tide again with Texas A&M in his team’s a quest to stay on course to earn a College Football Playoff slot.

The Crimson Tide hammered then-No. 9 Tennessee 41-10 last weekend, while the Aggies earned a 45-38 victory over these same ninth-ranked Volunteers prior to their rest week.

Meanwhile, No. 2 Ohio State will also try to keep its 100 percent record going against Penn State on Saturday.

Urban Meyer Buckeyes head to Beaver Stadium in University Park, PA, with a 6-0 record and will be buzzing with confidence after getting the better of then-No. 8 Wisconsin in overtime last Saturday.

If Ohio State can secure a win at Penn State this weekend, it will be its 18th straight road victory in Big Ten conference play, which would be a league record.

They currently share the record with Michigan, which won 17 straight between 1988-1992.

A win for the Buckeyes would also give them 21 straight away from home.

Also on the schedule for Week 8, No. 23 Ole Miss travels to face No. 25 LSU at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, while No. 21 Auburn will play host to No. 17 Arkansas in AP Top 25 ranked v ranked matchups.

Elsewhere, No. 3 Michigan host Illinois, while No. 5 Washington will entertain Oregon State at Husky Stadium in Seattle.

In other games involving AP top 10 ranked teams, No. 7 Louisville will host NC State, No. 8 Nebraska meets Purdue at home and No. 10 Wisconsin travels to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes.
