Liverpool 2-0 AC Milan Live Updates, Lineups

SANTA CLARA, CA, Sporting Alert – Georginio Wijnaldum and Daniel Sturridge both start for Liverpool in tonight’s International Champions Cup clash with AC Milan at Levi’s Stadium.

Wijnaldum will make his first appearance for the Reds after signing from Newcastle United last week.

The Dutchman, who claimed he’s happy to play anywhere on the field for Liverpool, will start in midfield alongside James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana.

Meanwhile, England international Sturridge returns to the side to lead the attack for Jürgen Klopp’s side, which is looking to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat suffered at the hands of fellow English Premier League side Chelsea earlier this week.

Sturridge is making his first appearance for Liverpool in the 2016 pre-season campaign.

Also starting the Reds on Saturday night are Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho, who will support Sturridge in the attack, while Ragnar Klavan and Dejan Lovren play in defence and Simon Mignolet starts in the goal.

The Reds take on the Italian side in their second International Champions Cup fixture, with kick-off set for 3.05am BST (7.05pm local time in California).

Trent Alexander-Arnold also starts, while Nathaniel Clyne, Divock Origi, Danny Ings and Roberto Firmino are among the players named on the bench.

For AC Milan, Riccardo Montolivo, Luiz Adriano, Suso and Alessio Romagnoli are among the starters tonight for the Italian Serie A side.

Andrea Poli and Keisuke Honda are among the players on the bench.
