Terry was left on the bench for Wednesday night’s win against Maccabi Tel Aviv and was expected to return back for this game.
However, the club captain is shockingly left on the bench again which is a shocker to almost everyone.
Branislav Ivanovic comes back and will captain the Blues today, with Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma starting at centre-back and Cesar Azpilicueta completing the back four.
Spanish forward Pedro returns for Chelsea as well side after recovering from the thigh injury that kept him out of the Maccabi Tel Aviv game.
Oscar, Costa and Eden Hazard are also part of the attack, while Willian is out because of a hamstring injured.
Radamel Falcao has been named to the bench alongside Loic Remy.
Holding midfielder, Matic, perhaps Chelsea’s best play so far this season, returns to play in the midfield alongside Cesc Fabregas, after being rested in midfield.
Meanwhile, for Arsenal, Theo Walcott will lead the attack, with Olivier Giroud, who was red carded in the Champions League on Wednesday night, named on the bench.
For Chelsea FC goalkeeper, Petr Cech returns to Stamford Bridge for the first time since his summer move, while Gabriel Paulista continues to partner Laurent Koscielny at centre-back, but Per Mertesacker was not included in the match day squad, despite recovering from illness.
Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez all start as well, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain among the substitutes.
