Manchester United boss Moyes not looking to sign players in January

Manchester United boss David Moyes

MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — Manchester United team is so good this season, manager David Moyes doesn’t believe he will sign any players in the January transfer window.

There have been several names being linked to the club, but when asked if he would be making any signings in the new window, despite seeing his team struggling to keep pace for a top four slot in the English Premier League, Moyes claimed that he doubts any new signings will  come into the squad in January.

It is understood that Moyes wants to wait until January to get the players he wants.

“I don’t think so (that he will sign playing now). I think most of the business will be more towards the summer rather than January.”

By waiting to freshen up his squad in the summer, Moyes could risk Manchester United missing out at playing in the Champions League next season, something that could make it even more difficult to acquire the signatures of top players, while several key players, including Wayne Rooney could jump ship.
