CHICAGO — Pau Gasol scored 24 points and led four starters in double-digits and the Chicago Bulls beat the Los Angeles Clippers in an NBA game Thursday night.
Gasol connected on all three of his 3-pointers, while shooting 10 for 19 from the floor. The star forward also finished with six rebounds, two steals and two blocks for the Bulls, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Jimmy Butler finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and two blocks, Taj Gibson had 12 points and eight rebounds, Derrick Rose scored 11 points for Chicago (12-8) which shot just 35.6 percent.
Joakim Noah pulled down 13 rebounds off the bench, Nikola Mirotic grabbed 11 boards and Aaron Brooks scored 10 points in the win for the hosts who improved to 8-3 at home this season.
Meanwhile, Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 18 points and 11 boards, but was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on Gibson in the third quarter.
Chris Paul scored 12 points and five assists, but missed the tying 3-point attempt as the clock expires.
DeAndre Jordan added 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers (13-10) who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
THUNDER 107, HAWKS 94
OKLAHOMA CITY — Kevin Durant delivered a triple-double of 25 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Atlanta Hawks 107-94 in an NBA game on Thursday night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Durant, who flirted with the landmark several times before this season, was collecting his first triple-double on the term, but the seventh in his career.
All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook added a double-double with 23 points and 10 assists, while ending with six rebounds and three steals as well for the Thunder.
Serge Ibaka had a season-high 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and two blocks, while Steven Adams supported with 11 points and seven boards for Oklahoma City (14-8) which won its third straight and shot 49-percent from the floor.
Kent Bazemore scored 22 points off the bench to lead Atlanta (14-10) which had its two-game winning streak snapped.
Jeff Teague had 18 points, five rebounds and four assists, Kyle Korver added 12 points and Thabo Sefolosha finished with 11 for the Hawks in the defeat.
