BOSTON (November 28) —— Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and the Brooklyn Nets all lead at halftime in their respective NBA games on Monday night.
Boston (16-4) leads Hornets (6-14) 78-55 at halftime with Marcus Smart the current all-round top contributor with 16 points and eight assists. Jayson Tatum is the top scorer at the moment for the Celtics with 22 points, while Malcolm Brogdon has scored 17 points with five assists.
PJ Washington leads Charlotte with 12 points at halftime.
Boston scored 45 points in a quick start to the game in the first quarter and held the Hornets to 19 points in the opening period.
Meanwhile, Kevin Durant has 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting to lead the Brooklyn Nets who lead the Orlando Magic 52-51 at halftime. All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving has scored 13 so far for the Nets in the first half.
For the Magic, Paolo Banchero has so far scored 14 points with Bol Bol and Franz Wagner scoring 12 points each.
Elsewhere the Cleveland Cavaliers lead the Toronto Raptors 52-43 at halftime. Evan Mobley is already flirting with a double-double as he’s got 11 points and nine rebounds in the first half.
Pascal Siakam has 17 points on 6 of 10 shooting with six rebounds for the Raptors.
The New Orleans Pelicans, in the meantime, are leading the Oklahoma City Thunder 56-50 at halftime in their matchup. Zion Williamson has10 points and six rebounds and Jose Alvarado scored 10 points to lead the way at halftime for the Pelicans, who shot 44.9% at halftime on 22-for-49.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has so far scored 11 points for the Thunder, who have lost four os the last five games.
