NBA Schedule and Livescores on Jan. 18

MIAMI, FL — NBA schedule and livescores on Wednesday night, January 18 with nine games listed on the midweek program.

ESPN will broadcast two of the games nationally, with the Western Conference clash between Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder at 10:30 p.m. ET sitting the highest on the agenda.

This battle will see former teammates and good friends Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook going head-to-head for the second time since the former left last summer for Golden State.

The Warriors won the first meeting last November, with Durant scoring 39 points for the home side.

Westbrook was averaging a triple-double then, and the Thunder guard, who seeks his 21st in that category on Wednesday night, is still dominating the stats.

Meanwhile, the Warriors said earlier on Wednesday that Klay Thompson will not play against the Thunder because of personal reasons.

Tonight, ESPN is reporting that the shooting guard “called general manager Bob Myers with an update to say he might make it back to the game from the family issue.”

Westbrook and Thunder will aim to avenge the 26-point loss to the Warriors in November, but will have to do it without centre Steven Adams, who misses his second game with a concussion.

ESPN’s Basketball Power Index is giving the Warriors a 87 percent chance to defeat Oklahoma City in tonight’s game.

The other live game on ESPN and streaming on WatchESPN is the matchup between the Houston Rockets and the Milwaukee Bucks, starting at 8:00 p.m.

ESPN, NBA.com and livescores.com will have updates from both games, along with the seven others.
