Results are from the AT&T Cotton Bowl and the Discover Orange Bowl.

The action saw Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins impressing as No. 12 Clemson (11-2) defeat No. 7 Ohio State (12-2), 40-35, handing the Buckeyes their second defeat of the season.

Boyd threw for 378 yards and five touchdowns and junior wide receiver Watkins finished with a record-setting 16 catches for 227 yards on the night for the Tigers in the Orange Bowl.

“We are Orange Bowl champs again,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said. “Hey, listen: Two years ago we got our butts kicked on this field. And it has been a journey to get back.

“We’re 22-4 since that night. And we are the first team from the state of South Carolina to ever win a BCS game.”

In the night’s other bowl game, No. 8 Missouri (12-2) handed the thirteen-ranked Oklahoma State (10-3) another defeat, following a 41-31 result to win the Cotton Bowl.

Running back Henry Josey was the star man for the Tigers in Arlington, after he ran for 92 yards and scored three touchdowns on Friday night.
