Staley had been doubtful earlier this week with a sprained right knee he sustained against the St. Louis Rams last week, but after working out with the team on Thursday and Friday, it was no secret that he had recovered enough to take his place on the field.

However, Guard Mike Iupati remains inactive for the 49ers for the third successive game with a sprained knee so Adam Snyder will keep his place in the team.

San Francisco Inactives: DL Cornellius Carradine, TE Garrett Celek, WR Jonathan Baldwin, OG Mike Iupati, WR Quinton Patton, DL Quinton Dial, CB Tarell Brown.

Seattle Seahawks Inactives: WR Percey Harvin, RB Christine Michael, CB Brnaodn Brwoner, OT Michael Bowie, OT Caylin Hauptmann, DE Benson Mayowa, DT Jordan Hill.
