TEXAS, Sporting Alert – The following is the NCAA College Football Schedule for the Southeastern Conference teams playing in Week 1, as well as the live TV channels and streaming networks.

Week 1 action begins on Thursday evening and there will be two SEC teams in action on the opening day of the first week.

South Carolina will open its 2015 schedule against North Carolina in the nationally televised game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., with live tv broadcast will be at 6 pm ET on ESPN. North Carolina leads the series 34-18-4.

The other SEC outfits in action on Thursday is Vanderbilt who will take on Western Kentucky at home in Nashville, Tenn. Game time for this contest is at 8 pm ET, with the SEC Network streaming the coverage live.

No Southeastern Conference teams will take the field on Friday, but a packed schedule is slated for Saturday, with 12 games broadcasting live on television and online.

At the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, SEC and national college football powerhouses Alabama, ranked No. 3 in the latest AP poll, will get its season underway against No. 20 Wisconsin.

The game which will be televised live on ABC at 8 pm, will see Alabama and Wisconsin meeting for only the second time. The Badgers lead the series 1-0.

Two other top 10 nationally ranked SEC programs will also take the field on Saturday, as No. 6 Auburn and No. 9 Georgia are also set to get their respective campaigns started.

The Tigers will take the field at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga., at 3:30 pm on CBS, where they will battle with Louisville who finished with a 9-4 overall record at the end of last season. Auburn leads this series 1-0.

Georgia, in the meantime, will face-off with Louisiana-Monroe at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., looking to improve to 4-0 in this series.

In other college football games this weekend involving SEC programs; No. 14 LSU will take on McNeese State, No. 17 Ole Miss play UT-Martin at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in the first meeting between these two outfits, while No. 18 Arkansas and UTEP battle at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

Elsewhere, No. 24 Missouri meet Southeast Missouri, No. 25 Tennessee and Bowling Green will collide, while Texas A&M will open its fixtures against No. 15 Arizona State at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Mississippi State will meet Southern Miss for the 18th time, with USM leading the series 14-3-1.
