HOOVER, Alabama, Sporting Alert — The 2017 SEC Baseball Tournament pitches off on Tuesday at Hoover Met. Stadium in Alabama, as the challenging road to Omaha, begins.

The 41st edition of the SEC Baseball Tournament runs from May 23-28, with 17 games to be played inside six days. Live television and online streaming coverage are available via the SEC Network.

Four first round games are on the schedule for Day 1 on Tuesday, with the No. 11 seed South Carolina taking on No. 6 Vanderbilt.

First pitch of the 2017 SEC Baseball Tournament is 10:32 am ET.

Also on the schedule for Tuesday is the second game between No. 7 Texas A&M and No. 10 University of Missouri, which starts at 2:00 pm.

No. 9 Ole Miss and No. 8 Auburn will face-off at 5:30 pm in Game 3, while the fourth game on Day 1 sees the tournament’s fifth seed Mississippi State matching up with No. 12 seed Georgia, starting at 9:00 pm.

The first round fixtures will be single-elimination.

Meanwhile, No. 1 seed Florida, as well as the second seeded LSU and third seed Kentucky, will join the party on Day 2 on Wednesday, which will start the double-elimination portion of the tournament.
